I do. This is Kenzo, a Caucasian Ovcharka, and he is a huge and protective kind of guy. But, if he loves you, then you really have to watch out.
I was at his house one night this week massaging his much older sister, Siri. Now, keep in mind that I had already given Kenzo and his brother, Trent, lots of love when I got there because I knew that they were not getting their regular massages this time. This was a special one just for Siri.
I was sitting on the floor with Siri, as I do with larger dogs, massaging her neck and shoulder muscles. Out of the blue I get a sharp nip on my left side love handle.
Please note that Kenzo's mom, Debby McMullen, is a certified dog trainer and owner of Pawsitive Reactions, so I knew the nip was not aggressive or threatening.
Maybe Kenzo was telling me I need to lose weight, but I think he wanted more attention and was ready for his massage. It was quite a surprise. I yelped, and, when I turned and looked at him, I swear he had a smirky grin on his adorable face. Gotta love the Kenzo!
